| facebook has come... xanga might stop, or just not do much. or, i might just not do much w/ facebook. we'll see- time will tell.
Merry CHRISTmas, all! have a blessed vacation!
| so, i think today was the last worst day until break. oh wait. man, i just remembered those quizzes in 3 of my 4 classes. shucks.
well, anyway- what i was GOING to say is this: so, i think today was the last worst day until break. i probably shouldn't wish that christmas vacation started tomorrow, considering the social on friday, and goign to lg to help w/ 1st grade spanish class during 5th period... but then again- one of my favorite people will be home soon from college, adn i'm pretty sure spending time w/ him even beats anything fun at school.
and everyone to go friday morning Bible study... i heard (accutally, i KNOW) there will be food there. hungry for donuts? hungry for God? shiz-am... Bible study's the place for you.
| 17. it's not so bad.
and neither is this nice line from 'wizard of oz'... ding dong, the witch is dead. . DBQ i'm definately glad for that.
and my thought/ponder for today... there's some quote that says somethign to teh effect of, when you realize that you're humble, it's at that moment that you are no longer. well, if that be so, can one concienciously work on humility? or would that result only in false humility? in other words, can you try to genuinely be humble?
anyway, so goes another week. and Christmas is pretty much here.
| i think if i were to die right NOW...
...i'd die the happiest person alive
(and the only reason i can find is God alone).
| Reflections on the Principles of A Course in Miracles
Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, handsome, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us.
It is not just in some; it is in everyone. And, as we let our own light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
Often attributed to Nelson Mandela who actually quoted Marianne Williamson from her book “A Return to Love”

so, i pretty much couldn't help but put this on here... i found it on josh's moodle profile. it's very profound, and rather straight forward, as well as concise. hence, i like it!
